Homelessness

AND the need for adequate shelter has little to do with weather.

 

It is NEVER safe to sleep in the streets, NEVER can a person build health without regular nutritious food, NEVER can physical and mentaal disabilities be adequately addressed while a person sleeps in the streets and scrounges through garbage daily for something to eat.

 

Why is it we have an animal protection act, and SPCA shelters adequate to take in all stray dogs and cats, when we do not provide the same level of care to our human neighbours?
