FW: Criteria- Get the facts right, $40,000 for one degree !
How convenient for the city and others with vested interests to revert back to the old criteria. Half truths and misinformation to cover up mistakes made. The criteria was raised last year and those nights were paid for by BC Housing. Also no mention of the federal funding received by the Unitarian Fellowship of Nanaimo for the next two years.
So now the city is giving the Unitarian Fellowship forty thousand dollars for one degree difference.
Maybe the paper should get their facts correct, as well maybe the Mayor and Council should finally stand up and take notice.
Letting people suffer on our streets this winter is inexcusable.
