This Asylum Called Earth

Once again,the budget comes. As per usual the Liberal government makes cuts to those less fortunate in our province .One that is a reflection of just how those supposedly elected by the citizens of BC”,politicians;” are in a class of their own. The continued oppression of the marginalized & disenfranchised in our society ,with further cuts to PWD (persons with disabilities) a prime example.

Further stigmatizing those they are responsible for. The kicker is that as a society we not only condone it,but feed into it. The flavour of the month is HOMELESS, what a joke. These narrow -minded,arrogant, so called educated people,”Politicians,” are so far from the reality of many in our country it is criminal,morally unjust,and down right evil. A judeo-christian or capitalist/puritan ideology has no place in our society today.

That way of shaping a society has not evolved into anything representing humanity,or a respect and understanding of the planet we dwell on. They are masters of creating extinction,many are gone;yet the most obvious endangered species on this planet are humans.

It baffles me that people can accept homlessness,poverty,domestic violence,child poverty,and more to continue. I would rather love and serve humanity labelled as crazy,mentally ill and stigmatized than accept the status quo. A creative maladjustment of mind is most comforting ;considering the alternative.

There is no excuse for allowing others to suffer because they are different.I try my best to be the change I want to see in the world and have met many who also are making it a vocation.

So I will continue being who I am,despite the madness of those running this asylum called EARTH...
